Patient Details
Level of Alopecia: Diffuse alopecia with hairline recession at Norwood III stage and Norwood VI progression.
Norwood: Norwood VI diffuse
Surgical Plan: Hairline reconstruction, density increase in the frontal, fronto-temporal area, mid scalp and
crown. The surgery was performed in two consecutive days with 4 sessions of extraction and implantation (2
sessions per day). 2268 grafts were implanted in the frontal area and 1697 in the mid scalp and crown.
Patient´s age: 40 years old.
Finasteride and minoxidil treatment was recommended to stabilise his hair loss and improve miniaturised hair.
Hair Thickness: 48-50 microns
Hair Type: asian patient, dark, thin hair
Number of Grafts Implanted: 3965
0.75mm manual punch and 0.8mm motorised punch was used for the extraction.
